Tiger Woods to Gain Lifelong Corporate Sponsorship Deal from Viagra

On the heels of losing lucrative sponsorship deals recently from corporate whores AT&T and Accenture due to numerous allegations of marital infidelities, Tiger Woods proudly reported a new lifelong sponsorship deal from Viagra. "My johnson will now be plastered on their web site, and interested woman can click on and contact me anytime they wish," Tiger tweeted from an undisclosed location. "I'll also be writing a new column for their website called 'Hole in One.' It's focus will be a how-to-guide for men who want to score strippers, use corporate enablers as pimps and specific instructions on how to feign remorse when caught cheating on your spouse. American men admire my eagles and birdies and now they'll get a chance to learn the art of love from a master." "I couldn't have done all this with out my illegal script for Viagra," Tiger was reported as saying. "On any given day I was servicing upwards of 4 to 6 women, and sometimes my driver just wasn't up to all that work."

Viagra did not comment on its reasons for hiring Woods, or how much his new contract was worth. Woods has taken an indefinite leave from playing the field and this new corporate sponsorship deal is a way for him to, in his own words, "transform my image from disgraced family man to redeemed sexual athlete." In addition, Electronic Arts Inc., which puts out the “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” series of golf video games, has indicated interest in a Tiger Woods adult video game where you get to rate each sexual encounter and are awarded points for each time you avoid detection from the missus. Viagra did not immediately return requests for comment.

Throne-Holst's Dachshund/Poodle Frankie to Run for Southampton Town Supervisor

Councilwoman Anna Throne-Holst's dog Frankie, her dachshund/poodle mix, will run for Southampton Town Supervisor in the upcoming election. “Frankie's a natural born leader,” Ms. Throne-Holst said. “Frankie's one smart pooch and I'm sure he'll lift a leg to help the people of Southampton. Humans let this area go to the dogs. Frankie may the savior we've been looking for."

Newly elected official Ms. Sally Pope said Frankie makes their Town Hall offices a happier place and she likes to eat her lunch while sitting next to Frankie's bowl. “This may sound funny, but Frankie is an incredible kisser,” she said. “He comes up and humps your leg numerous times a day and sometimes, he’s the only one to do that. It's actually quite refreshing compared to some of the meetings we have to sit through.” “Frankie's a fighter and I think he's got a good shot at being elected,” Mr. Nuzzi said when asked about the dog. “Right now we have formed an exploratory committee and we're soliciting private contributions for Frankie's future campaign.” Southampton Town Supervisor Linda Cabot had one comment: "Bring it on, Frankie!"

New Parish Art Spa in Watermill, NY to Feature World's Largest Hot Tub

The Parrish Art Museum’s plans for a modern new spa—a $60 million project that will be funded solely with private donations—are full steam ahead despite the fact that the U.S. economy has tanked and the uber-rich are cutting back. The first phase of the 80,000-square-foot spa will open later this year. According to the proposed spa's director, Soupy Cultan, the Parrish Art Spa will strive to provide the best service possible. "Our goal is to create a special place where your every visit feels like a $250 dollar foot message given by a young Asian Geisha girl who has ulterior motives. We guarantee a happy ending."

The first phase of the spa will include a 42,000-square-foot concrete hot tub and the complete and utter destruction of the 14-acre grounds on Montauk Highway in western Water Mill, adjacent to Duck Walk Vineyards. The Parrish Art Museum will close in the coming weeks and its artwork will adorn it the spa once construction is completed. As well-known whores to the almighty dollar, the former museum’s leadership decided that catering to the physical and spiritual needs of the rich and sexually depraved made more financial sense than displaying art work. "I'm happy to report that the spa is booked solid with swinger's conventions this upcoming summer season," Cultan said. "What's more important to a rich aging woman: staring at mediocre art or getting a quality facial?" Cultan asked.

Springs Resident Fined $50,000 by East Hampton for Messy Bedroom

Springs resident Ryan Blight, whose cluttered yard led to his conviction on littering charges earlier this year in East Hampton Town Justice Court, was fined a shocking total of $50,000 by Town Justice Lisa R. U. Anal for having, get this, a messy bedroom. "I checked out Mr. Blight's bedroom myself and there were used condoms, moldy old issues of Playboy under his bed and underwear on his lamp," Justice R.U. Anal said.

Through the years, Blight's bedroom has been covered in soot, infested with (you guessed it!) mites, piles of chairs, and even a six-foot statue of his ex-girlfriend's biceps. "One of the reasons that my bedroom no longer attracts hot, young chicks is I lost my impetus to clean it when they fined me $50,000 for being a slob," said Mr. Blight in an exclusive interview with HAN. "But then again, being chronically unemployed, functionally illiterate, ugly and impotent may have something to do with my lack of success with the babes."

"The bedroom is atrocious," neighbor Dim Sullivansky said to the judge. "Using my high-powered binoculars, I can watch Ryan catching mites and squeezing them with his fingers from my bedroom window. I wish Ryan would simply go away...he's a waste of food and oxygen." Over a year and a half ago, Mr. Sullivansky teamed with other disgruntled Springs neighbors and collected 63 signatures on a petition asking East Hampton to chemically castrate Mr. Blight if he didn't clean his bedroom in 30 days.

HAN vows to stay on top of this late-breaking Hampton's saga and provide our dear reader (notice we didn't write "readers") with updates whenever and wherever they're necessary. Stay tuned for the next stunning chapter in East Hampton's sordid history, a town run by hacks with too much time and money (your tax dollars) on its idle hands. Marvel as we do at the courage of Mr. Blight as he fights to keep his right to live like a bum!

GOV. JINDAL'S RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA'S SPEECH TO CONGRESS

The Title Is A Link To BJ's Actual Speech...

Tonight, we witnessed a great moment in the history of our Republic. In the very chamber where Congress once voted to abolish slavery, our first African-American president stepped forward to lecture us non-African Americans on our many shortcomings. With his speech tonight, the president completed a pedantic journey that took our nation from cocaine sniffing to Chicago corrupt politics to the basketball court and now, finally, the Oval Office.

Regardless of party, all Americans feel bowel movements when they think of the president's personal story -- the son of an American mother and a Kenyan father, who grew up to become leader of the not-so-free world coasting to the top job with a smile and a pack of lies. Like the president's father, my own parents came to this country from a distant land seeking cash and glory. When they arrived in Baton Rouge, my mother was already 4-½-months pregnant and began working the streets as a hooker. I was what folks in the insurance industry now call a "pre-existing mental condition." To find work, my dad danced naked in front of convenience stores.  Even after landing a job as a male dancer, he could still not afford to pay for my delivery, so he worked out an installment plan with UPS and I always wear brown. Fortunately for me, he never missed a lap dance.

As I grew up, my mom and dad taught me that cash was king and they instilled in me an immigrant's wonder at the greatness that was once America until we Republicans ran it to the ground. As a child, I remember going to the grocery store and stealing meat with my dad. Growing up in India, he had seen extreme poverty and loved the young girls who worked the streets. And as we walked through the aisles, looking at the despair on the faces of workers without a livable wage and health care, he would tell me: "Bobby, Americans are suckers and shills for the rich." I still believe that to this day: Americans can't really do anything. When we pull our puds together, there is no orgasm we cannot achieve.

As the president made clear this evening, those in Washington and Wall Street are having the time of their lives on your tax dollar. Many of you listening tonight have lost jobs. Others have seen your college and retirement savings dwindle. Many of you are worried about losing your health care and your homes. And you are looking to your elected leaders in Washington for solutions. Well, guess what, you're fucked!

Republicans are ready to obstruct the new president so we can take over and run America further into the ground. Here in my state of Louisians, we don't care what party you belong to, if you have want to make money of the backs of our people, welcome aboard. We need more of that "steal-at-all-costs" attitude from both Democrats and Republicans in our nation's capital. All of us want our consumers to bend over while we prosper. So where we agree, Republicans must be the president's strongest homeosexual partners. And where we disagree, Republicans have a responsibility to use condoms and avoid airport bathroom antics.

Today in Washington, some are promising that government will rescue us from the economic storms raging all around us. Fat chance!  Those of us who lived through Hurricane Katrina -- we have our doubts that government can do anything.

Let me tell you a story.

During Katrina, I visited Sheriff Harry Lee, a Democrat and a good friend of mine at a whorehouse. When I walked in on him making love to a 300-pound lady, I'd never seen him so angry. He was yelling into the phone: "Well, I'm the Sheriff and if you don't like it you can come in and arrest me!" I asked him: "Sheriff, what's got you so mad?" He told me that he needed the release only a lady of the night could provide. Other police were threatening to arrest him for his indiscretion. I told him, "Sheriff, that's ridiculous." And before I knew it, he was yelling into the phone: "Congressman Jindal is here, and he says you can come and arrest him too!" I unzipped my pants and joined in on Harry's fun.

There is a lesson in this experience: The strength of America is not found in our loins. It is found in the condoms we wear and the enterprising spirit of our hookers. We are grateful for the support we have received from whores across the nation for my sexual therapy sessions. This spirit destroyed Louisiana through the hurricanes and this spirit will get our nation through the storms of impotence we face today.

To solve our current problems, Washington must bleed you. But the way to bleed is not to raise taxes and not to just put more money and power in hands of Washington politicians. The way to lead is by laying you off, the entire hapless American people. Because we believe that Americans will stomach anything.

That is why Republicans put forward plans to create jobs by hiring chimps in fast food restaurants, setting up surveillance cameras everywhere, strengthening incentives for businesses to shed more American workers, and stabilizing home values by making sure renter is evicted and every home owner is foreclosed. These plans are humane and will result in more suicides and depression.

But Democratic leaders in Congress -- they rejected this approach. Instead of trusting us to make wise decisions with our own money, they passed the largest government spending bill in history, with a price tag of more than $1 trillion with interest. While some of the projects in the bill make sense, their legislation is larded with wasteful spending. It includes $300 million to import cocaine from Mexico, $8 billion for fried chicken for the White House, free viagra in the water nation's water supply, and $140 million for something called "penis monitoring." Instead of monitoring penises, what Congress should be monitoring is the eruption of Baracky spending in Washington, D.C.

Democratic leaders say their legislation will cause the economy to become dependent on their largesse. What it will do is grow the government, increase our taxes down the line, and saddle future generations with debt. But we did that under President Bush, so who the fuck really cares? Who among us would ask our children to peddle their wares on the street, so we could spend money on whores we do not have, on additional deviant behaviors we do not need? That is precisely what the Democrats in Congress just did. It's irresponsible. And it's no way to strengthen our economy, create jobs, or build a prosperous future for our children.

In Louisiana, we took a different approach. Since I became governor, we shut down the government and watched people die in the streets. To create jobs for our citizens, we opened up 2,500 new fast-food restaurants -- but you need to be bilingual. Republicans and Democrats put aside their differences and we all went to a gentlemen's club -- we worked together to make sure we shared the costs of the lap dances. (Love you, Dad!)  If a beautiful woman can earn $300 a night working a pole in Baton Rouge, surely it can be done in Washington, D.C.

To strengthen our economy, we need to kill all the politicians, lawyers, and lobbyists right away.  All of us remember what it felt like to pay $4 at the pump and because politicians like me are bought by Big Oil, those prices will return. (But I'm rich, so it won't really crimp my lifestyle.) To stop that from happening, I'm asking everyone to donate their extra gas to me.

To strengthen our economy, we also need to forget about rising health care costs. Republicans believe in a simple principle: Every American should have the right to refuse quality health care and die -- period. We stand for universal decimation which will result in affordable health care coverage for those rich enough to survive. What we oppose is universal government-run health care. Health care decisions should be made by insurance companies and lawyers, not by doctors or patients. We believe Americans want to die, and if we put aside partisan politics and work together, we can make our system of private medicine kill everyone who is not rich within a generation.

To strengthen our economy, we also need to make sure every child in America drops out of a school. After Katrina, we closed down the New Orleans school system, opening dozens of new prisons, and introducing a more virulent form of crack on our streets. We believe that, with the proper lack of education, the children of America will become more pliable to the will of the rich and powerful.

To strengthen our economy, we must promote confidence in America by bailing out the banks that got us into this mess in the first place. In my home state, there used to be saying: At any given time, half of Louisiana was said to be half under water, and the other half is under indictment. It's true then and true now.  Last year, we passed some of the weakest ethics laws in the nation and today, Louisiana has turned her back on the poor and illiterate. We need to bring more prostitutes to Washington, D.C., so we can rid our Capitol of marital infidelity and get ready to approve the passage of another trillion dollar spending bill that Congress has not even read and the American people haven't even seen.

As we take these baby steps, we must remember for all our troubles at home, dangerous enemies like unrepentant Republicans still seek your destruction. Now is no time to leave an undeclared war that cost us $1 trillion, or stop killing innocent children in the name of oil profits. America's fighting men and women can kill anything. If we give them the resources they need, they will kill until there's no one left to murder.

In all these areas, Republicans want to hose President Obama. We don't appreciate his message of hope, but sometimes it seems we look for hope in different places. Democratic leaders in Washington -- they place their hope in Stevie Wonder and fried chicken. We place our hope in Watergate, CIA waterboarding and overturning the Bill of Rights. In the end, it comes down to an honest and fundamental disagreement between overpaid rich lawyers about the proper role of making sure the government works for the elite, ivy-league educated. We support the view that says the way to strengthen our country is to increase dependence on corporations, not government. We believe the way to strengthen our country is to restrain consumer spending, and drain all hope from individuals and small businesses so big business can take over the economy again and outsource jobs.

In recent years, these distinctions in philosophy became less clear -- our party really scored some incredible corporate victories with its principles. You elected Republicans to champion limited government, fiscal discipline and personal responsibility. Instead, Republicans went along with earmarks and big government spending in Washington. Republicans lost your trust -- and rightly so. But our corporate masters benefited greatly and their war machine is primed and ready for action.

Tonight, on behalf of our leaders in Congress and my fellow Republican governors, I say this: Our party doesn't give a rat's ass about you. We will screw you by abandoning all principles and ethics.

You know, a few weeks ago, that black president of ours warned that our nation is facing a shortage of corn bread so great that he said "we may not be able to reverse." Our troubles are real, to be sure. But don't let anyone tell you that we cannot cook more corn bread. Don't let anyone tell you that America's best days are ahead. This is the nation that embraced slavery, diddled while the Great Depression destroyed countless lives, killed millions in two unnecessary World Wars, backpedaled on civil rights, secretly armed the imaginary Soviet menace, and responded with cowardice and a lack of accountability to the attacks of September 11, 2001. The American spirit has failed versus almost every form of adversity known to man, and the American spirit will fail once again.

We can have no confidence in our future, because, amid all of today's challenges, we still have the same corrupt leadership class: We have lazy and overweight citizens, dwindling resources, an economy tilted to the rich, the most bloated military, and the most repressive political system in the history of the world. My fellow citizens, never forget: We are fucked-up Americans. And like my dad said years ago, a lap dance in the hand is worth two in Mom's bush.

Thank you for falling asleep during my speech. God curse you. God have mercy on Louisiana. And God bless the political and economic elite of America.

10 Hamptons Survival Tips if You're Robbed At Gunpoint in Your Car

On the heels of a recent robbing of a man and his girlfriend in a car by four males brandishing a shotgun on Muir Boulevard in East Hampton, herewith ten essential survival tips:

1. Offer to drive your assailants to Buzz Chew for a test drive of a new truck.
2. Tell them you're a reporter from Plum TV and you want to do a documentary on their criminal escapades in the Hamptons.
3. Give them the finger and tell them you're dead broke because you live in the Hamptons.
4. Run them over and then be sued for violating their rights.
5. Offer a free East Hampton beach permit to the first assailant who can speak three consecutive sentences in English.
6. Promise you'll open up a charge account for them when the new Ralph Lauren store opens on Main Street.
7. Wear a Barack Obama mask and hand them green cards.
8. Give each of your assailants the business card of your least favorite rich Hamptons real estate broker with their home address written on the back.
9. Use a rolled up summer Dan's Papers and beat them senseless with it.
10. Get out of the car slowly, bend over and kiss your own sorry ass goodbye.

New Obama Stimulus Package to Provide Funding for Johnny Wadd Museum

The Obama Administration announced today that it would go ahead with plans to build a museum in Ashville, Ohio honoring the artistic contributions of John C. Holmes or Johnny Wadd (after the lead character in a series of related films) as part of its record $785 billion dollar stimulus package. "Ohio is too big to fail; Ashville is too big to fail; and the late great Johnny Wadd was too big to fail," President Obama said at a press conference. "Johnny always knew what to do when it came to his woody. Johnny lived the dream of "yes, we can" and now his museum will become a mecca for his fans and his more than 14,000 ex-lovers. Johnny had the ultimate stimulus package."

Ashville, Ohio was Johnny Wadd's birthplace. The proposed new Ohio museum will showcase clips culled from Johnny's 2,500 adult loops, stag films, porno feature movies, at least one gay feature film and a handful of gay loops that were made in the 1970s and 1980s. In front of the $22 million dollar complex, a giant 20-foot penis made of concrete and a painstaking replica, will stand as a tribute to John Holmes' s exceptionally large penis, an organ heavily promoted as being the longest in the porn industry. Free condoms will be distributed to the new museum's first 1,000 visitors. "People wonder if we're shooting our wadd with this new stimulus package, " President Obama explained. "Well, in one sense, they're right."

Hamptonsdog Billionaire Wins Oscar for Best Picture

Director Danny Boilass's paean to Eastern Long Island through the story of an urchin’s quest for love on a game show swept the Oscars and won Best Picture and Best Director this week. Hamptonsdog Billionaire is about a young man on the verge of winning a one-hundred and twenty-million-dollar beachfront property in East Hampton on Plum TV's Who Wants to be a Billionaire, a game show hosted by a smug prick from the East Hampton Town Board. The problem is that the boy Marcos is an undocumented day laborer from Central America, and Hispanic culture dictates that you can't be smart if you come from the lowest classes. Only the privileged and wealthy should be able to answer the difficult questions.

Plot Summary

In a story inspired (but not written by) Capra and Dickens, Marcos is arrested by the East Hampton Town police the night before he is to answer the 120-million-dollar question. They suspect him of cheating and force him to listen to testimony regarding a new commercial development proposal in front of the East Hampton Town Board. Town Supervisor and ex-cop Ed McGintee beats the shit out of him to make Marcos confess. The former local East End cop straps him to batteries, punches him and handcuffs him to a chair, all in an effort to get him to confess. Instead of confessing, he reveals how he knows the answers, and in so doing tells his life story. It reveals how his mother was killed in a stampede to get dinner reservations during the summer, how he was taken in by a Fagin-like magazine promoter, how he survived as a sales clerk at Ralph Lauren, how he has loved the same cocaine his entire life, and his strained relationship with his pet hamster Pickles.

We know Marcos will win the grand prize, because Capra wouldn't have it any other way. But we also know that winning is not really what Marcos wants. That would be his true love, Pickles. He only appears on the show because he hopes to find more hamsters.

New East Hampton Beach Parking Permits to Cost $25,000 Per Season

Hey local East Hampton residents used to free beach access, bend over. Your hapless leaders have approved a plan that charges an annual parking permit fee of $25,000 for residents.

Residents will be able to buy up to two additional permits for $15,000 apiece. Senior citizens will pay $15,000 for the first permit and $10,000 for each additional one. The fee for non-residents remains the same at $325,000.

Village beaches are Georgica Beach, Main Beach, Wiborg Beach, Egypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. A village permit is required from May 15 through September 15. Main and Two Mile Hollow beaches are the only village beaches where single-day parking is available at $2000 a day, on weekdays only.

Yard Sale Nation

The change required to salvage U.S society runs much deeper than most imagine...Say goodbye to the 'consumer society.' Familiar touchstones of contemporary American life have to go. No more fast money and no more credit.

President Obama stepped into the shoes of Lincoln, FDR, Millard Fillmore and forty other predecessors -- this time as the wished-for Mr. Fix it of a nation run into a ditch. Surely over the months of transition, someone with a clear head and a fact-laden portfolio has clued-in the new President about the reality-based state-of-the-Union -- as opposed to, say, to the Las Vegas version, where Santa Clause presides over a whoredom of something-for-nothing economics, and all behaviors are equally okay, and consequence has been sliced-and-diced out of the game … where, in the immortal words of Milan Kundera, anything goes and nothing matters.

President Obama deserves credit for a lot of things, but perhaps most amazingly his ability to see "hope" in a public so demoralized by their own bad choices that the U.S. scene has devolved to a non-stop Special Olympics of everyday life, where absolutely everybody is debilitated, deluded, challenged, or needs a leg up, or an extra buck, or a pallet on the floor, or a gastric bypass, or a week in detox, or a head-start, or a fourth strike, or a roughly $800-billion dollar bailout.

There's a lot of raw material from sea to shining sea, admittedly. But how do you re-shape it into a population guided by a sense of earnest purpose, with reality-based expectations, with habits of delayed gratification and impulse control, and a sense of their own history? That will be quite a trick. Many of us -- myself included -- will be pulling for President Obama. Maybe the power of his rhetoric and his sheer buff physical presence can whip this republic of overfed clowns into shape.

He inherits a government of superficially gleaming marble edifices -- all gloriously on view tomorrow -- but full of broken machinery within, infested with weevils, termites, and rats. The U.S. is functionally bankrupt. We have no money. The pixel "money" being emailed over to the insolvent banks has no basis in reality beyond the quiver in Ben Bernanke's voice as he announces each new injection. Yet all reports so far indicate that President Obama is bent on continuing the process one way or another.

Mr. Obama's first task taking stage in the lonely Oval Office should be to get right with his own credo of "change," meaning he'll have to persuade the broad American public that the "change" required to salvage this society runs much deeper, colder, and thicker than they'd imagine in their initial transports over hallelujah-Bush-is-Gone. Many of the familiar touchstones of the recent American experience have got to go.

Say goodbye to the "consumer society." We're done with that. No more fast money and no more credit. The next stop is "yard-sale nation," in which all the plastic crapola accumulated over the past fifty years is sorted out for residual value and, if still working, sold for a fraction of its original sticker price. This includes everything from Humvees to Hello Kitty charm bracelets.

It will be a very salutary thing if we stop even referring to ourselves as "consumers." This degrading moniker, used for decades unthinkingly by everyone from The New York Times Nobel Prize pundits to the Econ 101 section men of the land-grant diploma mills has been such a drag on our collective development that it has extinguished the last latent flickers of duty, obligation, and responsibility for the greater good in a republic of broken communities shattered by WalMarts.

The government will not have to do a thing to bring down the chain-stores. History and inertia is already on that case, with the easy credit racket terminated and new frictions arising over global trade, and even Peak Oil waiting to work its hoodoo behind the scrim of deceptively temporarily low pump prices. The larger question for President Obama is: how can we collectively promote the reconstruction of Main Street, including all the fine-grained layers of retail and wholesale trade. High tech "solutions" are not likely to avail in this.

In fact, techno-grandiosity and techno-triumphalism must be be sedulously monitored and guarded-against. They jointly amount to the great mass psychosis of our time and culture. This array of traps -- from proposed flying cars to "renewable" motor fuels -- is the ultimate Faustian "bargain." It will be at the heart of any campaign to sustain the unsustainable, sucking us ever more deeply into the diminishing returns of over-investments in complexity. Hence, the last thing this nation needs now is a stimulus plan aimed at the development of non-gasoline-powered automobiles -- married with extensive rehabilitation of the highway system.

What I incessantly refer to as the Happy Motoring fiesta is drawing to a close as we have known it, whether we like it or not. Cars will be around for a while, of course, but as an increasingly elite activity. The owners of cars will be increasingly beset by grievance and resentment on the part of those foreclosed from the Happy Motoring life -- and it could easily degenerate to vandalism and violence, since the "right" to endless motoring was surreptitiously made an entitlement somewhere around 1957.

The "change" we face in agriculture dwarfs even the death throes of Happy Motoring (and is not unrelated to it either). A lot of people are likely to starve in America if we don't get our act together pronto in terms of how we produce the food we eat. Petro-agribusiness faces a set of disturbances that are certain to induce food shortages. Again, the Peak Oil specter looms in the background, for soil "inputs" and diesel power to run that system.

But all of a sudden even that problem appears a lesser danger than the gross failure of capital finance now underway -- and petro-agriculture's chief external input is credit. Credit may be in extremely short supply this year, and hence crops may be in short supply as we turn the corner into spring and summer. Just as in the case of WalMart versus Main Street, the reform of farming in America is one of those "changes" much larger than most of us imagine. I'd go so far to say that a large proportion of young people now in college will find themselves not working in office cubicles, but in some way or other in farming or the "value-added" activities connected to it.

I don't see how America can confront the "change" represented by the stark fact that suburbia-is-toast. It is the sorest spot of all in the corpus of a culture beset by disease and debility. The salient manifestation of suburbia's demise is the remorseless drop of housing values in the places most representative of that development pattern. The worst thing the Obama team could do about this would be to attempt to prevent the fall of inflated house prices. Their real value needs to be clearly established before a picture emerges of which places have a plausible future, and which places are destined to be mere ruins or salvage yards.

Americans will have to live somewhere, of course, but the terrain of North America faces a very comprehensive reformation. The biggest cities will contract; the small cities and small towns will be reactivated, the agricultural landscape will be inhabited differently, and the suburbs will undergo an agonizing decades-long work-out of bad debt and true asset re-valuation. Since the loss of so much vested "wealth" is implied by the crash of suburbia, this may be a source of revolutionary political violence moving deeper into the Obama administration.

There's been plenty of buzz in the blogosphere about the imminent failure of the U.S. "social safety net," including especially the social security program. Retirees are the biggest block of voters. They're not liable to foment riots -- that is best left to the youthful high-testosterone cohort -- but the older folks -- with Baby Boomers now coming aboard -- could be so distressed by the loss of their presumed entitlements that they will elect any maniac promising to bring back something that looked like the 1980s. We haven't begun to hear their war cries, and I hope they do not beat a path straight into some sort of crypto corporate fascism -- as, finally, every last failing scrap of American life is nationalized.

Some natural processes hide in the thickets ahead. A hyper-inflation could take this country in any weird and unappetizing direction, from scapegoating and persecution to a new kind of corporate fascism. But I'm inclined to see our tribulations governed more by weakness in high places than by real power. In a world of declining capital and depleting energy resources, the key to any successful venture will be smaller scale. I'm not convinced that any emergency could make the US government more effective at getting anything done. Our hopes really ought to be vested locally, since that is where the most effective action is likely to be in the years just ahead.

There are many Americans of good will who would like to see the meaning of real "change" clearly articulated in a way that comports with reality, not just "dreams" and wishes. We'll hear a lot about dreams this week, anyway, of course, but then reality will set in and the heavy lifting will commence. Many Americans of good will also stand ready to face reality, to roll up our sleeves, ditch the video games and the Nascar and the microwaved cheese treats, and the internet porn and all the other noxious, narcolepsy-inducing distractions of our time, and put our shoulders to the wheel to haul this nation into a plausible future.

It will take more than one "happy czar" to help get the embattled and sad U.S. people smiling again, President and would-be Jedi Knight Barack Obama has decided. Instead, his spacy administration is establishing a presidential task force to direct people to start being happy, a senior administration official said this past week.

Dour tax-evader Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and sullen Harvard sexist National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers -- both formerly of the Dark Side -- will oversee the across-the-government panel, the official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made. People are bummed out all around the world, and there's no shortage of bad news: a deep global recession, rising joblessness, rising levels of greenhouse gasses, the disappearance of Krispy Kreme donuts, to name but a few.

On Tuesday President Obama will fly the Millenium Falcon to Denver and sign the $787 billion stimulus bill into law, vowing "to let the force flow freely by throwing ooodles of money at anybody and anything to ensure that earth-tied U.S. citizens get happy." Would-be Jedi Knight Obama will also be tackling the elimination of global poverty, a cure for all diseases, and free lifetime prescriptions for Viagra for every male on the planet before his daily light-saber workout on Monday. "I know guaranteeing happiness is an ambitious agenda," the President said. "But I've proven I can do the impossible already. And now, armed with the power of the Force, my messianic visions are the stuff of legend."

"I think it's safe to say that things have not yet bottomed out," press secretary droid R2D2 Gibbs said Sunday. "They are probably going to get worse before they improve. But Barack Obama's demonstrated mastery of the force is a big step forward toward making that improvement and putting smiles back on the people's faces."

In addition, President Obama was expected to use the Force to offer help to homeowners on the brink of foreclosure by promising them free room and board for the rest of their lives. Details have not been disclosed, but Obama thinks a new federal program run by Master Yoda giving every man, woman and child free housing, free health care and guaranteed lifetime employment should finally make people through out the universe happy forever.

New Hamptons Sport: Utility Pole Ramming

At a sparsely attended press conference, Southampton and East Hampton Town Police announced the creation of a new Hamptons sport called Utility Pole Ramming. The first participant in this new East End adrenaline rush was a black SUV that went off the road and slammed into a telephone pole on the north side of Montauk Highway, just west of the Hess station, in Wainscott, NY. The gutsy driver fled the scene before grateful police arrived, leaving the pole split, with the top hanging in tree branches.

The SUV was traveling west on Route 27 when it veered to the right and struck the utility pole, signaling the start of what's destined to become a popular local recreational pastime. Pedestrians cheered and camera crews and local officials were about to honor the camera-shy daredevil driver when he backed
up and sped off, continuing west toward Southampton Town. "Utility pole ramming is the wave of the future," Southampton Town Police Officer Mike Hunt gushed with enthusiasm. Hamptons local officials plan to expand the new Long Island-based sport in the summer months to include other stationary and non-stationary targets, with extra points and prizes to be given to local drivers who hit cityiots and other obnoxious out-of-towners.

Ass-Kissing Reduces Job-Related Stress

In a recent experiment, ass kissing was found to release chemicals in the human body that ease stress hormones in both sexes and encourage bonding in men, though not so much in women. As we are inundated with many of the finest purveyors of this art-form here in the Hamptons during the summer months we thought it worthy of further investigation.

The experiment involved corporate employees who practiced the art of ass-kissing with their bosses for 15 minutes while listening to elevator music. The subjects experienced significant changes in their body's levels of the chemicals oxytocin, which affects pair bonding, and cortisol, associated with stress. In addition, traces of feces on the subject's tongues appears to improve their job security.

The experiment was conducted in a major bank's board room. The researcher who conducted the milestone rump-love-fest plans to repeat it "in a more romantic setting like a corporate bathroom and may involve more intimate gestures." In general, the science of ass kissing — Sphinctology — is under-researched and a provision for $229 million dollars of funding has been included in the latest round of "Economic Stimulus Legislation."

REV. AL SHARPTON PROTESTS TO BECOME BERNIE MADOFF'S ROOMMATE

Disregarding his presumption of innocence and asserting that Bernard Madoff enjoys a "gilded penthouse incarceration," civil rights activist Al Sharpton led a one-man rally recently outside the accused Ponzi schemer's Manhattan home urging that he allow him to become his roommate.

Sharpton, a corrupt windbag who plays the race card for a living and loves to live lavishly, went binge drinking and asked that Madoff share his ornate quarters because "I want to taste some of the white man's champagne and caviar."

"I'll be more than happy to do the dishes and take out his dry cleaning as long as I can live with him rent free," an inebriated Sharpton said after the "protest" on Manhattan's affluent Upper East Side.

After ripping off $50 billion, Madoff is under house arrest and 24-hour surveillance in his penthouse apartment as a condition of his $10 million bail agreement. Sharpton plans to go on a hunger strike in order to get free housing with Madoff. "I want Bernie to know that I respect him for what he did and would love to learn some pointers. Even though I came from humble beginnings and have a low IQ, I've made money as a swindler too. Maybe Bernie and I can sell a network on a new reality show, sort of an update of 'The Odd Couple.'"

If he's unable to convince Bernie to let him live at his penthouse rent free, Sharpton plans to march on the White House and ask President Obama for free room and board. "We're brothers and I expect that the couch in the White House is better than anything I could find off of craigslist," Sharpton said.

Terminator Cheney Proposes Excessive Drinking and Killing All the Lawyers

Fresh from Skynet's bowels, The latest model "VPOTUS" is loosely based on Dick Cheney's DNA. The death robot from the future warned that there is a “high probability” that other Terminator units posing as rich drunk hunters will shoot their attorneys during recreational hunting trips in the coming years. "I'll be back," Cheney intoned.

In an exclusive interview with HAN, Cheney defended his ability to have a more than a few beers and take aim at any lawyer unfortunate enough to cross his path. "Where is Sarah Connor?" the Cheney unit asked.

"President Obama, I bring a warning from the future. All the lawyers in your country must be prepared to meet their maker. When lawyers live, they litigate and shooting them at random is one of the best ways to protect the United States against people who are absolutely committed to doing anything they can to financially rape Americans,” Cheney said in a robotic monotone.

Shooting overpaid lawyers is “a tough, mean, dirty, nasty business,” the robot said. “These are evil people. And we’re not going to win this fight by turning the other cheek. In fact, their lawsuits are time consuming and costly.”

Terminator Cheney said at least 61 of the lawyers he has personally shot over the years were released from hospitals and have “gone back into the business of practicing law, albeit with an understandable degree of apprehension.”

The choice, he alleged, reflects a naive mindset among the new team in Washington: “The United States needs to be not so much loved as it needs to be respected. Sometimes, that requires us to take actions that generate controversy. I’m not at all sure that that’s what the lawyerly Obama administration believes.”

The dire portrait Cheney painted of the country’s inability to eliminate lawyers was made even grimmer by his comments agreeing with analysts who believe this recession may be a once-in-a-century disaster.

“It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” Cheney said. “The combination of the financial crisis that started last year, coupled now with, obviously, a major growth in litigation ascribing blame and avoiding personal responsibility, I think we’re a long way from having solved these problems.”

He expressed confidence that killing lawyers for sport will eventually become a cherished national pastime and will result in a general improvement in American society. Not content to wait for a historical verdict, Cheney said he is practicing his shooting skills and is ready to "kill anyone threatening to sue him or his family." Polls show that Cheney's new "Kill the Lawyers" campaign has made him one of the most popular people on the national political scene.

This parody is based on actual Cheney interview regarding terrorism. Fucking Dick Cheney is actually a Terminator!

President Dark Knight Obama Memorable Movie Quotes

President Dark Knight Obama: Ridiculing me won't get their money back. I knew that Wall Street wouldn't go down without a fight, but this is different. They crossed the line.

Paul Volcker Pennyworth: You crossed the line first, sir. You squeezed them on the campaign trail for contributions, you hammered them from your bully pulpit to the point of desperation. And in their desperation they turned to Rush Limbaugh, a man they didn't fully understand.

President Dark Knight Obama: Wall Street executives aren't complicated, Paul. Just have to figure out what they're after.

Paul Volcker Pennyworth: With respect, sir, perhaps these financiers you're after you don't fully understand.

#

Detective John McCain: Clinton. Jesus. I thought you was dead.
Two-Face Clinton: Half.

#

Russ Limbaugh: The famous Barack Obama. Michelle's told me everything about you.
President Dark Knight Obama: I certainly hope not.

#

Secretary of Treasury Tim Geithner: Oh, investment bankers in this world used to believe in things. Honor. Respect. Look at you! What do you believe in, huh? What do you believe in-?

[Ex-President George W. Bush leans down and sticks a grenade in the manager's mouth]

Bush: I believe whatever doesn't ill you, simply makes you...
[takes off his Obama mask]

The Ex-Joker President Bush: ...stranger.

#

Mayor Bloomberg: [regarding The Ex-Joker President] What do we got?

Lt. Al Sharpton: Nothing. No matches on prints, DNA, dental. Clothing is custom, no labels. Nothing in his pockets but knives and lint. No name, no other alias.

#

[stumbles out of wrecked truck]
The Ex-Joker President: [to President Dark Knight]: Come on, I want you to do it, I want you to do it. Come on, hit me. Hit me!

#

Happy: So why do they call him "The Ex-Joker President"?
Dopey: I heard he wears make-up.
Happy: Make-up?
Dopey: Yeah, to scare people. You know, war paint.

#

Two-Face Clinton: Paul, right?
Paul Volcker Pennyworth: That's right, ma'am.
Two-Face Clinton: Yeah, Michelle Obama talks about you all the time. You've known her, her whole life!
Paul Volcker Pennyworth: Oh, not yet, ma'am.
Two-Face Clinton: Heh heh heh. Any psychotic ex-boyfriends I should be aware of?
Paul Volcker Pennyworth: [smiles] Oh, you have no idea.

#

Ex-Joker President: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We are tonight's entertainment! I only have one question. Where is Two-Face Clinton?
[nobody responds; The Ex-Joker President walks around the room pointing with his shotgun at everyone]
The Ex-Joker President: You know where Clinton is? You know who she is?
[grabs a man's face]
The Ex-Joker President: You know where I can find Clinton? I need to talk to her about something. Just something, a little.
[turns the man's face away]
The Ex-Joker President: No...
President Dark Knight: [to Bush] You wanted me, here I am.

#

Barack Obama: You know that day that you once told me about, when Washington would no longer need President Dark Knight? It's coming.
Michelle Obama: Barry. You can't ask me to wait for that.
Barack Obama: It's happening now. Hillary is that hero. She locked up half of Wall Street's criminals, and she did it without wearing a mask. Washington needs a hero with a face.

#

Paul Volcker Pennyworth: A long time ago, I was in Washington, D.C., my friends and I were working for the local government. We were trying to buy the loyalty of corporate leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their limos were being raided in a forest north of Virginia by a bandit. So we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never found anyone who traded with him. One day I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.

Barack Obama: Then why steal them?

Paul Volcker Pennyworth: Because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. Greedy financiers and corporate charlatans can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some money men just want to watch the world burn.

#

The Ex-Joker President Bush: You know, I'll settle for his loved ones.
Gentleman at Party: We're not intimidated by thugs!
The Ex-Joker President Bush: [as he smacks his lips] You know, you remind me of my father.
[the Ex-Joker President Bush pulls out his switchblade and brings it to the Gentleman's mouth]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: I hated my father!
Michelle Obama: [off-screen] Okay, stop!
[turns to face Michelle, tosses the Gentleman to his thugs and approaches Michelle, adjusting his hair with the knife]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: Well, hello, beautiful. You must be Barry's squeeze, hm? And you *are* beautiful.
[the Ex-Joker Prersident Bush hovers around the incredibly nervous Michelle]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: Well, you look nervous. Is it the scars? You want to know how I got 'em?
[He grabs Michelle's head and positions the knife by her mouth]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: Come here. Hey! Look at me. So I had a wife, beautiful, like you, who tells me I worry too much. Who tells me I ought to smile more. Who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks... Look at me! One day, they carve her face. And we have no money for surgeries. She can't take it. I just want to see her smile again, hm? I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars. So... I stick a razor in my mouth and do this...
[the Ex-Joker President Bush mimics slicing his mouth open with his tongue]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: ...to myself. And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side. Now I'm always smiling!
[Michelle knees Bush in the groin; he merely laughs it off]
The Ex-Joker President Bush: A little fight in you. I like that.
President Dark Knight: [off-screen] Then you're going to love me.
[attacks him]

Fairies On Trial In Islip

A group of fairies in Montauk plan to move ahead with their lawsuit challenging East Hampton Town’s long-standing law prohibiting these mythical creatures from flying and causing adults to experience a child- like joyous rapture. During one particularly acute fairy infestation, local East End residents became so overjoyed that they began to blow bubbles, skinny dip and take long naps.

A bench trial is scheduled to begin in February before Justice Merlin of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, according to East Hampton Town Attorney John Swillnicki. The case will be heard at the court’s Central Islip location and will be broadcast live at Disney theme parks throughout the world.

The ban, enacted by the Town Board in 1997, prohibits fairies from flying faster than 20 knots. "Those little buggers were a real nuisance and we finally took action when their ringleader Tinkerbell caused Town Supervisor Ed McGintee to disrobe and drool like a baby during a recent Town Board meeting," Mr. Swillnicki said.
