East Hampton Village Announces Dog Waste Czar

In an attempt to stop selfish people who let their dogs crap on our beaches, East Hampton Village will appoint a Dog Waste Czar next year at an annual salary of $120,000 per year. Interested parties should send their resumes to the East Hampton Village Board. "Because of the recession, we expect a lot of quality candidates to compete for this all-important job," Village Trustee Barbara Borsack said last week.
